A Tribute to Your Generosity
Giving is an act of worship. It’s a way to thank God for all we’ve received: salvation through Christ, life and health, family, friends, meaningful work... The list goes on.
Giving is about investing in people. It grips my heart to know that one of every three people in our world—people created for eternal relationship with God—have never had an opportunity to choose and follow Jesus. I thank the Lord for each one of you who shares our burning desire to provide that opportunity. We’re honored to be partners with you!

Giving to Global Disciples is about seeing people come to know and worship Jesus as their Savior and Lord, leading to transformed lives, families, and communities. Our generosity expresses God’s heart to those we serve—so people can live with dignity, hope, and purpose as redeemed sons and daughters of God.
A 12th century Jewish rabbi named Maimonides developed a ‘ladder of giving.’ Each rung up represents a higher ‘virtue’ in giving. The two highest levels reminded me of your generosity to Global Disciples.
Maimonides described those top rungs as giving to someone you don’t know, who doesn’t know you; and assisting with a “gift of a sum of money” (our seed funds), “or by putting them in the way of business so that they may earn an honest livelihood” (our small business development) so they do not need to “hold out their hand for charity.”
The local sustainability and multiplication of training, disciple-making and church planting taking place through Global Disciples is a tribute to your Holy Spirit-directed generosity.
As you give and pray for Global Disciples, you make self-reliance possible for people in need. Churches that didn’t think they could train and send out disciple-makers and church planters now do it in locally sustainable ways. Small businesses are multiplying to provide for church planters and further outreach.
Giving as worship does not require human recognition; it is a sacrifice of praise, and deeply fulfilling. As Jesus said, our Father in Heaven “will reward you,” even if many recipients of your gifts can’t thank you on this side of eternity (Matthew 6:4). On their behalf, we thank you!
