Lauren Wardle – Country Manager, Australia I grew up in Alice Springs. A fact that surprises a lot of people. The usual response is ‘I’ve never met anyone from there before – what’s it really like?’ The truth is this, living in the territory is an experience you do not forget. The red earth beneath your feet, inhabited by our ancestors thousands of years ago, and the vastness of the land makes you realise just how big Australia really is and how small we are in comparison. The remoteness of the territory breeds resilience, friends become family and there is no shortage of people to lend a hand when needed. It’s simply the ‘territory way’.

the view will literally take your breath away. For those of us who leave the territory, there is something magical about ‘home’ and the effect it has. I’ll forever be a Territorian, it’s in my blood. So, I encourage all friends of Wendy Wu Tours to experience the outback at least once in their lifetime and tell me that it doesn’t change your life...I’ll wait. On behalf of the team, we hope you find a spark of joy in this brochure! We hope you take the opportunity of international border closures to explore and discover a different kind of magic; filled with the Aussie spirit of adventure.

I always encourage people who visit the territory to look up into the night sky. Stars shine brighter in the outback and
