DAY 1: ARRIVE CHENGDU

Make your way to Chengdu. Upon Arrival, you will be met by your local guide and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

DAY 2: NINE VILLAGES VALLEY

Fly to Jiuzhaigou. Upon arrival, transfer to the UNESCO World Heritage Listed site of Nine Villages Valley visiting Huanglong Scenic Area en route. Located in the southern part of Minshan mountain range, the area is known for its colourful pools of limestone formations, snow-clad mountains, diverse forest ecosystems, pristine waterfalls and hot springs. DAY 3: DISCOVER WULONG

Transfer to Wulong – an area of stunning natural scenery and another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Spend the day strolling through Wulong National Park. Wander amongst the dramatic karst landscapes, that include three naturally-formed stone bridges, narrow gorges, caves and limestone formations. (B,L)

DAY 4: RETURN TO CHONGQING

Return to Chongqing and enjoy a soak in some of the region’s hot springs. (B,L)

DAY 5: DEPART CHONGQING

Your day is at leisure until the time comes to transfer to the airport for your onward flight. (B)

Explore the 16km-long Nine Villages Valley, a botanical gallery that is heavily forested and home to many protected species. Entering the valley is like being transported into a different world, where crystal clear lakes gather at the foot of every waterfall. (B,L,D)

DAY 4: DEPART CHENGDU

Return by road to Jiuzhaigou and transfer to the airport for your flight to Chengdu where arrangements end. (B)

Zhangjiajie Short Stay

Days 4

Gaze on Zhangjiajie’s pinnacles, admire peaceful Lake Baofeng, explore Mount Tianmen and discover Huanglong cave.

Day

Make your way to Zhangjiajie. Upon Arrival, you will be met by your local guide and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day

Enjoy a full day of exploring Zhangjiajie National Park. Begin at the Yuanjiajie Scenic Area and make your way around the karst scenery. Ride the Bailong glass elevator up to Mihun Stage and enjoy amazing views of the majestic peaks, including the ‘First Bridge under the Sun’ and Hallelujah Mountain. Continue to Emperor Mountain to visit Helong Park. Take a cable car down and head to Jinbian Stream and Ten-Mile Natural Gallery. You will be walking for around 4-5 hours in the park. (B,L)
