DAY 1: ARRIVE TUNXI

Enjoy

Your guide will meet you at your hotel in Shanghai and together you will transfer to the station to board the bullet train to Tunxi. The rest of the day is at leisure.

DAY 2: MT HUANG SUMMIT

Take a cable car to the summit of Mt. Huang. Located in the southern part of Anhui Province, it is undoubtedly one of the most popular mountain ranges in China. Enjoy the spectacular views of the oddly shaped peaks, rock formations, thousand-year-old pine trees and ever-changing mist, all of which have inspired local artists for centuries. Stay overnight in Mt. Huang. (B,L)

Enjoy a sampan cruise on Lake Baofeng, a peaceful expanse of water amongst picturesque karst scenery. Later, explore the colourful stalagmites and stalactites of the Huanglong Cave, stretching over 120 acres in area. (B,L)

Take a cable car to the beautiful Mount Tianmen and walk on the thrilling glass skywalk. Visit Tianmen Cave, nicknamed ‘Heaven’s Door’ and Jun Sheng Sandstone painting gallery. After touring, trasnfer to the airport for your onward flight. (B,L)

DAY 3: TUNXI ANCIENT TOWN

Take the cable car down to the base of the mountain and explore this ancient town of Tunxi. The narrow cobbled streets are lined with pretty little shops selling anything from local snacks and tea, to paintbrushes, cultural relics and intricate wood carvings. Stay overnight in Tunxi. (B,L)

DAY 4: DEPART TUNXI

Begin the day with a visit to local villages and learn about local lifestyle before transferring to the station to board your bullet train to Shanghai where arrangements end. (B,L)
