Home of Light
Chapter I: The repetition & emotional They, the people who live alone in a foreign country being apart from their close friends and family to earn for their future. They have to travel everyday back to back from Johor to Singapore due to rental in Singapore is too expensive. The repetition of travelling time and ways that they have gone through. The frustration, emotional and stress that we can feel from them just to survive in the society. The determination which they had to suffer from the road congestion, human and public transportation traffic during the working hour everyday morning and night. “You are out during day time which the sky are still dark and you are back at night when the sky had turn to dark.”
Chapter II: Lonely, Sickness How do you imagine being alone in a foreign country? What do you feel when you see or imagine there’s someone waiting you at home while the lights are on for you to welcome you back from the stressful working life. The comfort of a welcoming lights that warm your hearts. The pain and sickness that you wish to be gone at the next day. Presence of lights make difference between day and night. “You are alone.”
Chapter III: Home of Light A home which you are not alone, a space which connect everyone together, a space which restore mentally and physically of your health, a space where you release all your tension, emotional and stress, a place where you can find peace out from the busy streets. Provide a comfort space which you can customize your own “room of light” which consist several of spaces for you to interact with, study, relax and others. A façade which provide natural lighting through and luminous effect at night. “Create your world with light.”
Using Lights to change people emotion and cure health condition. Your temporary home, Provide personal and customize room of lights, a public and private space with interactive media.
