About Us

Pontiac Street Market is a full service grocery store with 9,000+ items including produce, deli, dairy, frozen goods, pantry items, home and pet needs, and local vendor items.

With a need to easier access to food we also have online ordering for pick up and an app that helps customers shop for their groceries online.

When developing this concept, we took a collaborative approach by partnering with the community to accomplish the mission and vison of the Pontiac Street Market.

Our priority is to serve everyone in the community by improving access to household goods, fresh and healthy foods, and service at a more affordable price.

SubConnection has quickly become a neighborhood favorite to our customers.

The bread is baked fresh everyday and the subs can be signature or made your way. Salads and daily soups are available with sides of chips or a desert.

We are proud to offer catering and have the ability to partner with Aging and in Home services to provide vouchers as well as offer discounts to law enforcement officers, paramedics, and firefighters

The health of our community is important, and understanding where our community stands at the moment helps us provide you with the proper resource sources.

Lack of access to healthy foods and to healthcare is a significant reason for these staggering health statistics. Inability to access quality healthcare and food can be attributed to the physical distance residents must travel to reach full service grocers.

About 32% of adults (ages 18 to 64) live below the Federal Poverty Line. Over 50% of children under the age of 18 live below the Federal Poverty Line.

Over 50% of residents who rent spend over 35% of total household income on rent. The unemployment rate is 12%. Over 25% of households speak a language other than English at home.
