We are excited that you are now a member of the Wesleyan College community! At Wesleyan, “First for Women” isn’t just a catchphrase; it’s a way of life. Founded as the Georgia Female College on December 23, 1836, Wesleyan was the first college in the world chartered to grant degrees to women. More than 180 years later, Wesleyan continues to educate students to do the extraordinary in their professions and in service to their communities. Whether you are a new first year student or you are transferring from another institution, we are looking forward to helping you start your journey and find your place at Wesleyan.
