Workplace Communities and Relationships Critically examine workplace communities and relationships in the light of theological and theoretical principles, and apply to specific workplace issues and contexts.

Applied Biblical Ethics Develop a working knowledge of how the Bible applies to contemporary divergent ethical issues and provides a foundation for a Christian approach to ethical issues.
Business Ethics Understand and apply a range of ethical theories and concepts to commercial organisation and activities including decision-making, interacting with others, allocating resources and protecting material and commercial interests.
Justice, Rights and the Law Understand the unique impact the Biblical worldview has had on the formation of justice and rights in the Western legal tradition. Evaluate its contribution to a stable society, effective institutions and structures that protect and foster proper interpersonal relationships.
Theories of Ethics Explore history and concepts of moral philosophy. Analyse major theories of ethics (‘normative ethics’), their underpinning structures (‘meta-ethics’) and their application (‘applied ethics’) in everyday life.

Compare and contrast quantitative and qualitative research. Gain the practical and theoretical skills and understandings necessary to design, conduct and evaluate informed research in the social sciences and related fields.

Integration Units Biblical Metanarrative Appreciate how the unfolding Biblical narrative reveals a coherent metanarrative within which to read, interpret and respond to Scripture so that a consistent Biblical worldview can be applied to all of life.
Faith and Vocation Reflect on your vocation as the integrating focus of your work, draw motivation and resilience from this focus, and consider effective means and modes of being spiritual while working. Please note: not all subjects will be offered every semester.
