Performance West, WAA’s festival within the conference, features an exciting evening-length public show at the legendary Hollywood House of Blues, Thursday, August 29. Leading off is singer-songwriter Ben Sollee. Ben plays a thrilling cello in his unique mix of folk, bluegrass, jazz and R&B. Next up, Bajofondo, the Argentine-Uruguayan tango fusion collective led by Grammy-winning producer Gustavo Santaolalla. The 70s Psychedelic Soul legend Shuggie Otis (son of the great Johnny Otis) will bring down the house to close out the night.
