WANDOAN & DISTRICT WANDOAN / GULUGUBA
WANDOAN Located 65km North of Miles, Wandoan is fertile Brigalow country that has long been cleared for the development of improved pastures. Now the area also produces large tonnages of wheat and sorghum. In the near future Wandoan will experience a signigicant impact from the establishment of the Xstrata open cut coal mine in close proximity to the township.
