THE COACH WRIGHT FILE Assistnat coach Billy Wright joined the Western Illinois men’s basketball staff in 2008-09 after a 12-year coaching stint, including two years as a head coach, at the high school level in Indianapolis. As an assistant coach with the Fighting Leathernecks, Wright assisted with recruiting, scouting, game scheduling, player development, on-court coaching, and monitoring the academic progress of the players. Following the 2010-11 season, Wright was promoted to associate head coach.
