Surrounded by mountains, rivers, and rock formations, Western’s expansive backyard is the perfect place for you to turn your classroom knowledge into hands-on understanding.
"Western has such easy access to public lands, it’s almost hard not to take advantage of it. The Multicultural Center provided me opportunities to engage in the outdoors through recreation. I’ve always had an appreciation for nature and realized that you don't have to ski or rock climb to immerse yourself in nature, but it never hurts to try something new." -Miriam Olvera, 21'
