W CLUB RECAP OF 2016 CAMPAIGN WHAT IS THE W CLUB? The Westside Alumni Association and Westside Foundation joined forces in 2016 to create the W Club—an official support group recognized by Westside Community Schools. The W Club mission is to contribute to the advancement of District 66 to achieve the following goals:
Last year, more than $44,000 was raised through the W Club by alumni and District 66 supporters. The investment by Warrior supporters provided the following for District 66: • Band Education with instruments and program support at Westside High School.
• Provide Funding to support the continuance of educational, artistic and athletic excellence for our children and the community.
• Family and Consumer Science program with new equipment and program support at Westside Middle School.
• Support Programs where district funds are not available.
• Enhancing the Outdoor Education experience for all 6th graders throughout the district and high school student volunteers.
• Recognize Excellence through student scholarships and teacher/staff awards. • Enhance Collaboration of those within our community by providing information about Westside Foundation, Alumni and District 66 schools.
