Highlights

Wests Tigers finished third after 26 rounds. This was the highest placed finish for the Club in a regular season

Played in the Preliminary Final v 2010 Premiers St George Illawarra in front of a crowd of over 70,000 people

Seven players in 2010 NRL Squad played representative Football, the most for any Club. These players were Bryce Gibbs (City Origin), Keith Galloway (City Origin), Lote Tuqiri (Australia), Chris Lawrence (Australia & City Origin), Robbie Farah (Australia & City Origin), Benji Marshall (New Zealand) and Gareth Ellis (England)

Four players represented Australian Schoolboys Matthew Groat David Nofoaluma James Tedesco Salesi Funaki (Under 15’s)

Coaching Milestones: Tim Sheens (Australian Head Coach) Royce Simmons (Australian Assistant Coach) Peter Gentle (Australian Assistant Coach & NSW Under 18’s Coach)

Highlights •

Wests Tigers achieved the highest home crowd attendance figures of any Sydney Club. This includes the home semi-final v Roosters

The average home crowd attendance was 19,269, up 1,462 on 2009 and well above the NRL average of 16,131

Wests Tigers matches were watched live at the ground by over half a million fans across a host of Australian stadiums. This included a massive crowd of over 70,000 at ANZ Stadium in the Preliminary final v St George Illawarra

Wests Tigers set a new home attendance record of 30,685 (v South Sydney Rabbitohs in Round 10 at the SCG) This beat the previous record of 29,970 set in 2009

An incredible 67% of Wests Tigers matches were televised by Channel 9 Free-to-Air

Wests Tigers continues to be one of the highest TV rating NRL Clubs on Channel 9 including 1.13 million viewers for Round 13 v Bulldogs at ANZ Stadium and 1.12 million for Round 17 v Broncos at Suncorp Stadium

Wests Tigers continues to generate large pay TV audiences - 245,000 viewers for the Saturday night match v Panthers

The Club is a favourite for Sunday afternoon football television Wests Tigers was allocated an NRL leading eight Sunday matches

Annual Grand Final Luncheon continued to grow with a sell-out of 1,200 in October

First club to split major sponsorship between the front of jersey and sleeve

Proton was the major sponsor for the fifth consecutive season – a record for Wests Tigers

Record corporate hospitality numbers for the annual SCG Heritage match v Rabbitohs

Major Sponsors included Proton Cars, MKB Contracting, UD Trucks, Trend Micro, X-Blades and Fosters Group

The Club’s membership base doubled

100% capacity at both Campbelltown and Leichhardt home matches in Members Only Stands

Successful introduction of ‘Stripes’ Membership package - A $60 package for those who cannot attend matches

An increase in exclusive Match Day experiences for Members

A 20% increase in attendance for all Membership Events

The Club experienced the highest number of page impressions across the NRL Club network

The Club doubled the number of unique users it attracted to weststigers.com.au when compared with 2009

Over one million page impressions were generated in September

The Club’s Facebook page has over 35,000 friends

There are over 3,000 followers for the Club’s Twitter account

Earlier this year, the Club launched a Mobile Phone Premium Content application, making it the first Club in any sport in Australia to do so

Highlights •

The Club created a Community logo called “Roar for a Cause” which will represent ALL Wests Tigers Community initiatives in the future

Wests Tigers are in partnership with three Charities - Exodus Foundation, Men of League & Children’s Cancer Institute Australia. Support is given through fundraising opportunities, player support and promotion via the Club’s Communication channels

Won the hearts of the general public for helping little Lleyton Giles - the 5 year old who has a terminal liver condition

The Club is also dedicated in its support of the NRL’s initiatives - Rugby League Reads, Eat Well Stay Well Play Well

A Wests Tigers “Academy of Learning Centre” has been acquired to assist the Campbelltown Community in helping kids who are falling behind in their reading

Provide a portion of match day tickets to Community that includes key stakeholders, charities and underprivileged children
