Wexford Festival Opera Visitor Profile

The Festival attracts a primarily older, middle class, educated, cultured, affluent audience with high income levels and high disposable income. In 2014, 79% of attendees were over 45 years, rising to 85% among overseas visitors. This constitutes the most mature age profile across the 2014 national festivals research. Domestic visitors were primarily female (67%), with 83% over 45 years.
