Volume Three primarily focuses on the 1930s, covering Superman, Čapek, Hamilton, “Doc” Smith, Campbell, Lovecraft, C. A. Smith, and Williamson, and concludes with an extensive discussion of Olaf Stapledon’s Last and First Men and Star Maker.
