We were able to get tablets with internet access for community members who had no digital access and offered 1:1 sessions to help them get on-line

We put out a special lockdown edition of the Digital Sentinel showcasing stories from local people

Our co-production artist in residence started a project with our team of freelance artists...

They worked on a project that went out to everyone on our adult program and got the highest response rate of all the projects we sent out during lockdown
The result - an epic amount of creativity and hard work from our community - was installed just before Christmas last year

SMALL GRANTS
WHALE Arts gave out ÂŁ20,000 in small grants to local community groups with covid response initiatives. Four Mums into Business members received a small start-up grant to help get their businesses going
