Rising to some 65 storeys, this structure will house 495 apartments ranging in size from studios to three-bedroom homes.
Currently under construction on the Island, the development’s sales agent reports strong off-plan sales, putting its performance down to the lifestyle offering at the scheme.
“We have been delighted with the progress so far, it’s great to see Aspen at Consort Place taking shape,” said FEC UK sales and marketing director Angela Walsh.
“We are creating a new destination that blends living and working seamlessly, which is proving a real winner with buyers.”
That destination includes a sky lounge and terrace, private dining facilities, a business lounge, a screening room and a winter garden.
In addition, residents will be able to access a wellness suite including a sauna, steam room, pool and gym as well as indoor and outdoor play facilities for kids and a games room.
The wider development will also be home to a 22-storey, four-star Dorsett Hotel with more than 230 rooms, a restaurant and a rooftop bar. The developer has also promised to refurbish The North Pole pub as part of its plans, restoring the watering hole to full use and continuing a history that began in 1860.
Located within five minutes’ walk of Canary Wharf, residents will be able to easily access the financial estate’s many amenities and transport links including the Elizabeth Line, Uber Boat By Thames Clippers and the Jubilee line.
It is also within easy walking distance of the DLR at South Quay for journeys south to Greenwich or north to the City and Tower Hill. Prices at Aspen start at £550,000 for properties still remaining. The development’s marketing suite is currently open for buyers interested in seeing what homes at Aspen will be like when completed. Go to aspen-canarywharf.com or call 020 8076 0436 for more details

Much of the same information applies to Alta at Consort Place, a 32-storey building next to The North Pole pub that will house 44 one, two and three-bedroom shared ownership homes.
These are being built in partnership by Far East Consortium and Latimer Homes – the development arm of Clarion Housing Group, the largest housing association in the UK.
Residents purchasing a share of these properties will get all the benefits of the development’s location – the proximity to Canary Wharf and transport links – although will not be able to access amenities such as the gym or business lounge.
The properties are arranged over the upper eight floors of the building with many boasting views across London and some apartments coming with balconies.
Krete Luca, Sales Director at Latimer said: “We’re thrilled to present this incredible collection of shared ownership apartments in this extraordinary location. Immaculately landscaped areas and a new square comprising a community hall, café and shops will enrich residents’ lifestyles and the development is perfectly located for exploring Canary Wharf, the rest of London and beyond.
“The combination of an attainable price tag and premium surroundings presents a unique shared ownership offering.”
While eligibility criteria govern who can take advantage of shared ownership and the scheme is targeted at first-time buyers, it does extend beyond that group.
In Alta’s case, prices for a 25% share of a one-bed apartment start at £130,500, based on a full market value of £522,000. Service charges at the scheme are capped at £2.66 per sq ft for the first 10 years.
