Clubbercise celebrates 10th anniversary by raising thousands of pounds for charity

CLUBBERCISE celebrated its 10th anniversary by raising thousands of pounds for charity

Founded in the UK in 2013 there are now thousands of people taking regular Clubbercise classes all over the world, and many of them joined a huge online party to celebrate their milestone. Together they managed to raise more then £3,000, which will be split between the mental health charities MIND and Beyond Blue.

The 90-minute livestream featured popular Clubbercise presenters, including Master Trainers Sonique Smith and Anna Martin, along with the best-loved tracks and routines from their back catalogue.

Most of the participants were from across the UK and Ireland, but people logged in from as far afield as Australia and New Zealand where Clubbercise is growing in popularity.

There were also 30 lucky ‘Clubbers’ in the studio who won a competition to attend in person. With the famous strapline ‘Bringing a night out to your workout’, Clubbercise is a mix of fun and fitness.

The full-body workout combines dance, toning and combat moves set to a soundtrack of club anthems from the 90s to the latest hits, and is held in a darkened room with disco lights and Clubbercise glowsticks.

The routines all have high and low impact options to make it inclusive for all fitness levels and abilities.
