TALKS & EVENTS SCHOOL VISITS & INSET TRAINING DAYS What on Earth? workshop facilitators Christopher Lloyd and John Gordon-Reid give high-energy, creative timeline workshops both at primary and secondary level across the entire curriculum including history, nature, sports, science, Shakespeare and British history. INSET workshops are designed for schools interested in developing a more cross-curricular narrative approach to learning. We also specialise in visiting home education groups.
SPEECH DAYS & PARENTS’ EVENINGS Connecting the dots of knowledge is one thing, but creating a shared learning experience between pupils, teachers and parents is just as important. Wherever possible we encourage schools to consider inviting parents at the end of a workshop day to see for themselves the beauty of the interconnectedness of knowledge.

THE WONDERFUL THINGS PEOPLE SAY ABOUT WHAT ON EARTH BOOKS!
“The What on Earth? series of wallbooks have become known for delivering the facts – on various subjects – in a fun, informative and visually appealing way. These books deliver on many levels and I couldn’t be more impressed. Never mind the children – I’d like the whole series for myself!” www.pocketfulofrye.co.uk
“We all think that the British History Timeline Wallbook is a fantastic book, and we are going to move stuff around in the bedroom to fit the timeline nicely on the wall. My 7-year-old even reads it lying in bed…” Jenny Leonard The Brick Castle Blog
“A unique, accessible and inspiring information book. The What on Earth? Timeline Wallbook of Big History is an amazing feat of publishing!” LoveReading4Kids November 2015 Book of the Month
“This is history let out of its box. It simply sings to infophiles and visual learners alike. With parallel timelines for all continents, developments on land, sky and sea, more than a thousand illustrations, it is a superlative mastery of design and research, a treat to eye and brain alike.” Lucy H Pearce Book Reviewer for JUNO magazine
