Charity food trail comes to Shrewsbury The Chewsbury Trail is coming to Shrewsbury (Saturday 21 August)! The self-guided trail will lead participants to six independent food & drink venues around the town, with coffee, cake and savoury snacks available to enjoy. All proceeds go to the Self Help Africa charity, to combat hunger and poverty. Tickets are £25 per adult (children’s tickets are available too) and can be purchased at selfhelpafrica.org or by calling 01743 277170.

Pink emporium Tonight Josephine comes to the Midlands The Adventure Bar group has officially launched its newest bar in Birmingham - Tonight Josephine. Already a hit in London, the pink emporium - located in the city centre on Stephenson Street - boasts extravagant bottomless brunches, a lavish cocktail menu and Instagramworthy interiors. Venue highlights include a nostalgic trip back to the noughties courtesy of an event dedicated to Britney Spears. The It’s Britney Brunch features ‘divalicious live performances, epic lipsync battles, an hour of bottomless prosecco or beer, food and outrageous giveaways’. Other brunches include Mamma Mia and Burlesque.
