elcome to the Cairngorms National Park and the July edition of the What’s On, the free events guide. To help you make the most of your time here we’ve put together an essential guide packed with what’s happening in the area. We’ve got some great ideas for things to do, places to see, where to eat and drink, and places to stay. Cheer on the competitors of the Corrieyairack Challenge on the 7th July as they run, walk and cycle 52 miles from Badaguish to Fort Augustus. From the 13th July - 4th August Feis Spe’s Cairngorm Ceilidh Trail returns, a great opportunity to hear traditional Scottish music in various locations across the Park. Golf season is in full swing with lots of opens and golf festivals throughout the month. Lastly don’t miss the Tomintoul Highland games on the 21st, one of the oldest in Scotland at over 175 years old featuring well known heavy events and fun for all the family. The Cairngorms National Park has something for everyone.
