TOUR DE TALBOT
Talbot Thrive is hosting Tour de Talbot this year on June 4th. Talbot Thrive is a new nonprofit dedicated to healthy and safe outdoor mobility for everyone. Riders will leave from the Easton Firehall at 7 a.m. and can choose from a 30-, 40-, or 62.5-mile ride. Casey Cares Rockfish Tournament
Join Casey Cares Foundation in Stevensville for the 5th Annual Casey Cares Foundation Rockfish Tournament. The Tournament will be on June 10th, based at the Inn at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. The competition to catch the biggest rockfish is for a terrific cause. Casey Cares helps families with critically ill children and forms lifelong memories. The 6th Annual Chesapeake Bay Motoring Festival is coming back to Maryland’s Eastern Shore on June 4th and 5th on the beautiful waterfront lawn of the Kent Island Yacht Club in Chester. This event will showcase grand classic motoring, antique and classic speed boats, yachts, and more. Solstice Celebration
ShoreRivers has hosted a Summer Solstice Celebration for nearly a decade under a big tent on the banks of the Chester River. Last year, there were multiple expeditions to celebrate the summer and this year ShoreRivers is doing both. Celebrate the event on June 25th from 6 to 10 p.m. at The Hodson Boathouse in Chestertown. ST. MICHAELS BREW FESTIVAL
Tickets are still on sale for St. Michaels Brew Festival. The festival will start on June 4th at noon and there will be plenty of hand-picked local beers flowing all day. Traditionally each year, Luminis Health brought us the Denim & Diamonds gala event. This year, the format adjusts to Drivers & Diamonds. This two-day celebration bridges together a golf and entertainment experience unlike any other to benefit Luminis’ mental health and addiction services in our region. CHESAPEAKE CHILDREN’S BOOK FESTIVAL
The Talbot County free library is hosting their Seventh Annual Chesapeake Children’s Book Festival on June 11th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Easton. This book festival will kick off the TCFL Summer Reading Program for 2022 and will feature author/illustrator Bryan Collier and author Carole Boston Weatherford. National Music Festival
Visit Historic Chestertown for the National Music Festival from June 5th to June 18th. This festival presents world-class celebrations of music and provides affordable arts education and entertainment. Bands in the Sand
Each summer, a sell-out crowd gathers on the beach to support Chesapeake Bay Foundation at Bands in the Sand. Enjoy live music, local cuisine, and cold drinks at this fundraiser on June 11th from 5:30 to 10 p.m. at the Philip Merrill Environmental Center in Annapolis.
