SEIFRIED RETIRES FROM VAAAC 

In early spring, Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County announced the retirement of Susan Seifried (pictured, far right), longtime Director of Media & Community Relations. For nearly 19 years, Seifried advocated for, pitched, and promoted Annapolis and Anne Arundel County destinations, the region, and the State. “Her reputation across Maryland and throughout the industry is incomparable,” stated VAAAC. “She has not only represented our organization well, but she has also represented our many partners. Sweet Partnership Raises Funds

Always Ice Cream Co./ Annapolis Ice Cream partnered with the Anne Arundel County Public Library Foundation to raise money for “Love Your Library” month during February. Library staff came up with flavors and names and AIC did a social media contest to choose the winning flavor. Then the entire month of February, any time someone ordered the chosen flavor “If You Give A Moose A Cookie,” a portion of the proceeds benefitted AACPL. The campaign raised more than $2,500. Spa Collaboration Announced

Face It! Spa and Wellness, located in Severna Park, announced that it has teamed with Lizabelly IV Hydration & Medspa to expand their lineup of offering and services. OSS Welcomes New Doctor

Oral Surgery Specialists recently welcomed the addition of Kenneth Kufta, DMD, MD to the practice, which serves residents in the greater Annapolis and Chesapeake Bay region. Dr. Kufta graduated Cum Laude from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he also obtained his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating at the top of his medical school class.
