The earrings I purchased for the wedding did not arrive in time, but I didn’t feel underdressed with the more simple earrings I had on hand because my headpiece was so large and sparkly.”

“I knew dresses could make up a large part of a wedding’s budget, but I preferred to save the money for florals or decor. I said yes to a dress from Poshmark, which originally retailed for $2,000. The only alteration I needed to add was a corset back, which cost $60. Since I had saved so much in buying a preloved dress, I also purchased a second reception dress from David’s Bridal.”

“My husband and I consulted together to come up with his look. We wanted to keep our color scheme light and for him to be equal in standing out on our special day. We thought that there was no better way than for him to wear ivory, like me. His only special request was that he wear a bow tie.”
