Marriage advice from the mouths of babes

In need of a hilarious activity to occupy your littlest wedding guests? Try marriage mad libs. All the parents in the room will thank you for giving them five minutes of quiet bliss, plus you’ll get a memento from your day that’s better than the top layer of your wedding cake (which definitely tasted best the day it was made, not 12 months later.)

Credit for this ingenuity goes to Allie Lonchar, a fourth-grade teacher who tied the knot at the Graduate Hotel this past November. She invited her students to share their best marriage advice and, spoiler alert, they’re going to grow up to be relationship therapists. According to Hannah: Your spouse will like it when you play games and use manners. Mary says you should make sure you always watch movies. And Skylin is the next Dr. Phil. He says the most important thing to know about getting married is Never lie to your soulmate. Amen, kids!
