about me.
born in Rhode Island into a tumultuous Polish upbringing, I grew up a displaced child. bounced from house to house and state to state, I longed for stability. but as I grew older, I started to become homesick for the places I hadn’t been yet. my struggle with the complicated themes of enduring transformation and identity can be found in my work, as it’s my belief that our clothes should become an outward representation of our internal monologues. an endlessly curious student with a passion for patternmaking and avant-garde design.

an exploration of where architectural and apparel design collide prototyped using 3/16 “ foam core, then finalized with 100% polyester lace, 18-gauge wire, and Stiffen Fabric Spray final product is stuffed with its own scraps, and encased using the Japanese Boro stitching method 11

featuring tulle, iridescent satin, embroidered organza, and organic hemp, this piece was created using a combination of hand and machine stitches and was entirely patterned by hand. it debuted in Appalachian’s 2019 Apparel Showcase.

constructed for my Sustainability in Apparel course, this garment was patterned to be a completely zero-waste design. made from two secondhand curtains, this tunic creates no fallout, and is lined to remove the need for serging seams—making it 100% sustainable.
