Ancient Artistry

The essence of smoke is in the air at Renata’s Hearth. Here, ancient Latin recipes are translated into the modern era, using authentic Southwest ingredients made with Old World preperations. Located at the iconic Arizona Biltmore, A Waldorf Astoria Resort— which recently underwent an extensive multimillion dollar reimagination—this new restaurant is already a popular destination.

Each dish here is designed to “wow”—both in flavor and presentation. Menu options include the Mole Negro Rubbed Smoked Wagyu Brisket, Grilled Branzino, and Renata’s Pozole Blanco. There are also two signature carts—a craft cocktail cart, where drinks are artfully crafted by Renata’s signature Mezcal Mavens, as well as a fresh guacamole and Spanish charcuterie cart. For the drinks, the Los Muertos and Smoked Pineapple are both crafted in a smoking cloche.

Outdoors, settle in for a drink at the new Spire Bar, a tribute to Frank Lloyd Wright, whose architecture influenced the original design of the resort. 2400 E. Missouri Ave., Phoenix; www.renatashearth.com
