Yes, you can always cab it, but for those looking for something different, there are so many options for fun and unusual ways to get around Metro Phoenix.

WHEEL FUN

PARTY ON WHEELS

Explore the bars in Old Town Scottsdale or Downtown Phoenix with a pub crawl on a party bike with Arizona Party Bike (www.arizonapartybike.com). These guided party bikes seat multiple people (and have an electric helper motor!), and feature LED party lights and a sound system. Drinks are allowed on board, as well.

HAVE A TROLLEY GOOD TIME

The buses in Scottsdale don’t look like typical buses. Here, they are labeled trolleys and made to look as such. The trolleys are free to ride, and connect several areas of Scottsdale, as well as several bus routes (www.scottsdaleaz.gov/ trolley). Those with a group can rent a more traditional, unique trolley from Dunn Transportation for a group outing (www.dunn transportation.com).

TRACK YOUR PROGRESS

The Valley Metro Light Rail is a 28.2-mile light rail line that serves the cities of Phoenix, Tempe, and Mesa. Not only can you can use it for transportation, but riders can also download the Valley Metro Artsline brochure for a list of arts locations—from station murals to arts and culture destinations, to events, performing arts, and music around town—where the rail stops. www.valleymetro.org

TAKE A RIDE
