I worked many temporary jobs in that manner for nearly six years up until 1982 or so and then while living in Los Angeles, CA. I worked for an aerospace custom fabrication shop called Fansteel PSM for a year and a half until around 1986 I did bench work and custom grinding and heat treating as well as check and straightening of exhaust thrust flaps for military jets and exhaust ducts for Beech Aircraft and Pratt & Whitney. I have done work on Space Shuttle parts for the main engine separator domes and exhaust cones and some work done on Hubble camera housings (drilling with fixture mainly) and have also some jet engine exhaust case riveting experience (Beech Aircraft) thru Fansteel PSM for Beech Aircraft and Martin Marietta, MacDonald Douglas, Morton Thiokol, Northrop and others. Since 1989 I have lived in the Colorado Denver-Metro area and have worked primarily in precision sheet metal fabrication shops doing (Amada NC-9 and RG) Press Brake Operator jobs and Gen. Shop Help. I am experienced in SPC and JIT as well as In-process part inspections. I also have operated many machines such as (Amada) Punch Press (Operator Only no setup) and am very familiar with hydraulic press brake machines i.e.. Cincinnati, Di Acro and any other press brake machine manual or computer operated. While in California I also gained experience in Hydro-form machine and have operated a hydoform machine for at least six months. I can operate a sheet metal sheer and have OSHA Classified training with Fork lifts up to 20 tons.
