SOCIAL COMMITTEE REPORT Join us for coffee and tea and conversation at the Shelter on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. Thanks to Joan Pickerill for providing yummy treats. All members are welcome! We are planning several events this year, starting with a Garage/Attic/Plant Sale the weekend of May 2. This is a fundraising event for ACBC. Participate by donating items or ‘manning’ your own table and donating 10% of your proceeds. The Annual ACBC Picnic will be July 5th when many non-resident members are on-Island. ACBC will provide coffee, tea, cold drinks, hamburgers and hot dogs. Members need to bring a set up and a dish to share (salad, beans etc.) Mark your calendar and plan to attend! We will have a Fall Garage/Attic Fundraiser (Sept), a Holiday Bazaar (Nov) and hopefully a New Year’s Eve Party. So far the Social Committee is Sue Corliss and Joan Pickerill. There is a lot of work for just two people, so if you would like to get involved in planning and executing our lofty goals, we would gladly accept your help. Contact Sue Corliss at 360-678-3731 (secure voicemail) or via email cedars@olypen.com.

Shelter Reservations ACBC member Sue Corliss has kindly volunteered to take on the Shelter Reservation and Rental responsibilities. She will keep the calendar so those who wish to rent the Shelter should call her at 360-678-3731 or e-mail her at cedars@olypen.com. (A copy of the rental calendar is available at the Shelter.)
