Challenge - currently health care systems are stretched with recruitment and retention a problem. By 2030 there will be a shortage of over 18m healthcare staff (BMJ). COVID19 has put the service under further strain. *In 2020 WHIS was approached by the HSE, Ireland to support 170,000 staff with wellbeing programmes with the anticipation of 7,000 staff leaving due to the pandemic (Can be discussed) Solution - provide a global platform to recruit staff with the opportunity to develop new and meaningful leadership programmes to retain (Thriving in the workplace) and recruit staff.

The World Health Innovation Summit platform and their partners provide the healthcare provider with opportunities to directly attract staff Nurses, Doctors etc through target recruitment campaigns. Steps1) Scoping to begin @ £75,000 to provide a report within 3 months on the options - looking at the opportunities for value creation and cost savings. Step 2) Agree an annual consultancy agreement to support recruitment, retention through advisory services retainer of £50,000 per month to include targeted recruitment webinars to showcase the existing opportunities - with a minimum of 8 per year. Step 3) Based on step 1 & 2 work on an annual international conference to support recruitment and retention. Bringing international thought leaders to support with leading academic research findings that would bring further funding opportunities on top of supporting recruitment opportunities - costs to be defined in scoping along with financing based on a circular economy model for the hospital that can be replicated.
Opportunities to showcase best practice results at High level political forums Value for money and return on investment to be secured within 3 years - a commitment from both parties would be needed for 3-7 years to ensure deliverables are sustainable and agreed outcomes are delivered. Partners would include: WHO, UNGSII, EPUK, NASP etc
