As you read through this month’s Lowdown you may have noticed the subscription flyer inserted inside. We are asking you to take notice and subscribe.

We hope the Lowdown invokes a feeling of celebration and can bring a smile. We hope that the local newspaper expands and grows your knowledge and allows you to travel through your community.

If you find that the paper helps you in this way, we ask for your support with a subscription. Readers are the backbone of our paper, and those who subscribe help keep the paper viable.

Today we are seeing a solid percentage of our subscribers using the online subscription system. We are also providing an insert in this week’s paper for those who prefer to mail in a payment. Please remember it can take time to start receiving the hard copy of the paper.

Subscribers also get full access to the online content on our website and the e-edition. If you are logging in for the first time, make sure to create an account then log in and use your subscriber code to starting viewing enhanced online content. Online readers can view more photos and videos, certain feature stories, and the full e-edition of the paper. This is a great option for readers who want flexibility to catch up on local news and happenings anytime and anywhere.
