The 2017 Season will be launched in December and a priority booking period commences for anyone wishing to subscribe to this Season until single seats go on sale Friday 6 January 2017. Wicked

Awe-inspiring and spectacular, Wicked is the untold story of the Full $42 witches of Oz. Long before Dorothy Conc $38 dropped in, two other girls meet Child $35 in the land of Oz. One, born with Group (10+) $35 emerald-green skin, is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. Wicked tells the enthralling story of two unlikely friends and how they became the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good. Featuring the hit Broadway songs Defying Gravity, For Good and The Wizard and I, this production is set to be a ‘thrillifying’ experience for all. Contact the box office for performance details

Yours Truly

Delving into the moments that bring two people together, the wonders they share and the heartache that life can bring during our journey to find eternal love. Yours Truly comprises two acts: Duets - a selection of Paul Malek’s most memorable and moving routines from his choreographic work on So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing With The Stars and numerous acclaimed theatrical productions. Act two is set against the backdrop of 1940s rural Australia and explores the heartbreaking stories of three couples separated by war. It is a powerful dance narrative and inspired by love letters in the time of war. Poignant choreography and beautiful music; remembering not just the fallen, but those that were left behind.

An Intimate Evening with David Hobson Tenor and composer David Hobson is one of Australia's best known operatic and recording artists. His unique talents have enabled him to sing for Queen Elizabeth II, win Dancing with the Stars and play such diverse Thursday 10 roles as Rodolfo in La Boheme to November 7.30pm Caractacus Potts in Chitty Chitty Bang Full $56 Bang. An Intimate Evening with David Conc $51 Hobson highlights a collection of arias and songs from his career and spans the genres of Opera, Music Theatre and Contemporary repertoire. Together with talented pianist and guitarist David Cameron, this promises to be an intimate evening of fine music.

Join Shirley Booth in Thornton Wilder’s tale of the matchmaker who sets her sights on the man she’s supposed to be pairing with another woman. Shirley, as the scheming Dolly Levi, brings Anthony Perkins and Shirley Maclaine along for the ride in a light-hearted romp that will have you laughing until the very end.

Utassy Ballet presents

56th Annual Performances Utassy’s 56th Season features The Star River, a collaboration from 1983 between Hironobu and Tickets $16 - $32 Yuriko Kitaoji (Institute of Creative Sciences of Culture). Based on the ‘Tanabata’ myth, this east-west cross cultural collaboration worked brilliantly. What a joy to bring this ballet back 23 years later. Whitehorse Australia Day Concert and Fireworks Soundshell Stage, Nunawading Civic Centre Gardens. Thursday 26 January 6pm – 10pm Civic Gardens 379 Whitehorse Road Nunawading Free event

Darren Percival will be headlining this year’s Australia Day Concert with support from Hunters and Collectors’ horn supremo Jack Howard and his band Epic Brass. The 15 rockin’ ladies from the Rebelles will take you back to the 60s, while Australia’s Got Talent finalists Superhoodz will dance up a storm on stage. This stunning night of entertainment will end with a bang, as the sky is lit up by a 10 minute fireworks spectacular.
