LIVE SHOWS @11am (Morning tea 10am) BUDDY’S BACK Buddy’s Back stars Scot Robin, who played the lead role in the smash hit musical Buddy. Scot will perform many of Buddy Holly’s songs including: That’ll Be The Day, Peggy Sue, Rave On and of course Oh Boy! Buddy’s Back will excite audiences both visually and musically with its high energy performance, brilliant costumes and fantastic musicianship as Scot Robin breathes life back into the legend that is Buddy Holly. WEDNESDAY 15 FEBRUARY 11AM / APPROX 1 HR 15 MINS (NO INTERVAL) LANZA SINGS AGAIN The incredible life story and absolute hits of Mario Lanza, tenor and Hollywood star, who tragically died at the age of 38. Roy Best will lead the show, singing loved and well-known hits including Be My Love, Because You’re Mine, You’ll Never Walk Alone and many more. He will be joined by Alison Jones portraying Kathryn Grayson, Lanza’s preferred soprano. Narrated by Chris McKenna and accompanied beautifully on the piano by Len Vorster. WEDNESDAY 15 MARCH 11AM / APPROX 1 HR 15 MINS (NO INTERVAL) TENORI - THE TUXEDO TOUR Tenori’s exciting performance employs the talents of powerhouse singers David Kidd, Craig Atkinson and Andrew Pryor. These polished professionals know exactly how to put on a dynamic, uplifting and hugely entertaining show. They bring fun and sophistication to classics from the worlds of Opera, Music Theatre and Jazz. Individually they have beautiful voices; together they sing like the band of brothers they are, with camaraderie and precision that more than a decade of harmonising together brings. WEDNESDAY 21 JUNE 11AM / APPROX 1 HR 15 MINS (NO INTERVAL) GREAT COMPOSERS OF LONDON’S WEST END Philip Gould heads a talented cast of performers in this wonderful narrative tribute to Lloyd Webber, Elton John, Richard Rogers and many more great composers whose music has shone on the London stage. Joining him will be Michelle Fitzmaurice and Philip Wheeldon, with Robyn Wommersley on piano. Musicals such as Evita, Cats, Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables will be highlighted in this great show, in what will be a feast for all musical theatre lovers. WEDNESDAY 19 JULY 11AM / APPROX 1 HR 15 MINS (NO INTERVAL) KINGS OF CROON This intimate show is a dynamic blend of musical talent and awe-inspiring performance and brings together Scott Irwin, Derek Metzger and Ian Stenlake. Boasting palpable charm and breathtaking voices, these tuxedo-clad crooners bring back the classic Vegas-like lounge show with a dynamic, modern twist. Join them as they pay homage to artists such as Andy Williams, Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin and so many more in a snappy, stylish production that will entertain and leave you wanting more! WEDNESDAY 30 AUGUST 11AM / APPROX 1 HR 15 MINS (NO INTERVAL) DENIS WALTER IN CONCERT Denis Walter has been entertaining audiences for 45 years. In addition to hosting radio, Denis still finds time for many singing and hosting performances each year. A big part of his career is the connection to Christmas where Denis has been a guest on Carols By Candlelight over 30 times. Fashion magazine photographer Dick Avery (Astaire) discovers the unique face of bookseller Jo Stockton (Hepburn), who is quickly transformed into a global supermodel. A stylish musical comedy ensues as the snobbish Hepburn finds herself falling for the handsome photographer. A story of boy-meets-girl buckshot rivalry where love finally triumphs. WEDNESDAY 13 SEPTEMBER 10AM / 1 HR 45 MINS (NO INTERVAL) GUYS AND DOLLS (1938) Hollywood legends Marlon Brando and Frank Sinatra are dazzling in this masterpiece, unleashing a spectacular songand dance show that’s loaded with entertainment. Big-time New York gamblers who can’t resist a bet on anything; the pair wage a bet on whether an attractive missionary who has set up shop in the neighbourhood will fall for Sinatra’s charm. Nursery rhyme characters come and go in this surreal fantasy as these masters of slapstick outwit the mean-spirited Barnaby and save the day for Mrs Peep and her family, with the help of the giant toy soldiers.
