Nestled between Llandudno and Conwy, Maesdu Golf Club features a fantastic 18 hole championship golf course combining over one hundred years of history and stunning scenery.

Founded in 1915 on land formerly known as the Maesdu (meaning Black Field) Estate, the council instructed legendary golf course architect, James Braid to advise on the course layout. Braid worked with Professional, Tom Jones to create the 18 hole parkland links that can be enjoyed today.

A blend of parkland and links, the Maesdu golf course boasts panoramic views across Conwy Bay, from the Great Orme Head to the mountains of Snowdonia National Park. With immaculate fairways and true greens, it presents a challenge for even the most accomplished of golfer.

Idyllically placed on the North Wales coast to provide visitors with a unique golfing experience, the Maesdu course measures 6,520 yards from the white tees and plays as a Par 72. It has a WHS course rating of 72.2 and Slope rating of 137.

The clubhouse building was opened at Maesdu Golf Club in 1964 and visitors can expect the warmest of Welsh welcomes.

With a relaxed atmosphere, homemade food and a large selection of drinks are available seven days a week in the comfortable lounge bar and beautifullyappointed, James Braid restaurant with spectacular views over the Welsh countryside. Whilst, the sports bar is the ideal place to enjoy a cold beverage following a round.
