Highly regarded as the jewel in the crown of Mid Wales golf, Builth Wells Golf Club was founded in 1923. Originally designed as a nine-hole layout, in 1986 the golf course was extended to the 18-hole layout that can be enjoyed today.

The par 66 golf course measures just 5,444 yards and whilst short in length, calls for excellent course management skills and accuracy from the tees. Requiring an excellent all round golf game, Builth Wells presents an enjoyable yet stern challenge to even the most accomplished of golfer.

The stunning Builth Wells golf course is situated just a short drive from the quaint market town of Builth Wells. The parkland layout is set in the quiet, picturesque Mid Wales countryside and, once played, is never forgotten. Representing a stern test for all levels of golfer, the course perfectly utilises its natural characteristics such as the surrounding woodland, ponds and the River Chewfri which meanders through the golf course.

Easily accessible from central and eastern areas of the UK, Builth Wells Golf Club are founder members of the Heart of Wales Golf Breaks group – an organisation that offers quality golfing breaks at affordable prices.

The Grade two listed clubhouse at Builth Wells Golf Club is a spectacle in itself. The original building was extended in 2004 to include two large, spacious lounge areas as well as a smaller bar area.

The clubhouse is also home to a separate dining area which seats up to 40 individuals, ideal for visiting golfing societies or corporate golf days.
