Barbie’s university education background was in the areas of Nutrition, Sports Psychology, and Marketing and Leadership. For more than 30 years Barbie was a Professional Rider and Trainer in the Hunter/Jumper sector of the Equestrian industry. As a highly competitive and successful professional, Barbie rode jumping horses for many owners and trainers throughout North America.

After immigrating to Canada, Shay found his way to the hospitality industry where he gained extensive Customer Service experience. Shay also has vast experience as a Regional Manager in the retail industry including many years managing a large employee base, creating and delivering sales programs for corporations, and training sales teams. Shay can see the big picture, form and implement a plan, and achieve the pre-set goals with his team. Shay is the co-founder of Homes on The Sunshine Coast Ltd. together with his partner Barbie Whitworth, have achieved Master Medallion Team status with the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver.
