Spiderman is Care Experienced?

Yes, your favourite swinging superhero is Care Experienced just like you! There are lots of different stories about Spiderman. You might have come across him in comics or in cartoons or in films. But in each story Spiderman grows up in kinship care. Kinship care means you live with family members who aren’t your mum and dad. Spiderman, whose real name is Peter Parker, grew up without his mum and dad there to look after him. He lived with his Uncle Ben and Aunt May who took care of him and loved him. What the story of Spiderman shows us is that Care Experienced people have what it takes to be superheroes. Your life might be different, but you might be going through your first superhero training lesson.
