WHLA Welcomes You
Welcome to All That Wisconsin Offers!
On behalf of an industry that personifies “Midwest Hospitality,” we welcome you to the great state of Wisconsin!
As a lifelong Wisconsinite, I’ve had the opportunity to enjoy all that Wisconsin has to offer, and I look forward to having you enjoy the diverse opportunities that abound. Wisconsin’s Northwoods offer peaceful days and nights during the summer months, enjoying the unique experience of a Northwoods lake. The area transforms into a winter wonderland of skiing, snowmobiling, and some great ice fishing in our winter months. Travel west and find Mississippi River communities with beautiful bluffs, historic downtowns, and outstanding biking trails. Travel east toward Lake Michigan and find another whole world ranging from the idyllic Door County, Green Bay, the quaint lakeshore communities, and down to the food-centric City of Milwaukee—host of Top Chef Season 21 and the Republican National Convention in 2024. Southern Wisconsin does not disappoint with our capital city of Madison, Wisconsin Dells—the Waterpark Capital of the World®, and beautiful resort cities such as Lake Geneva and charming New Glarus (Cheers to a Spotted Cow!)
Sports enthusiasts like myself can enjoy both participating and watching at world-class sports venues. The Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Bucks, and Milwaukee Brewers offer sheer excitement every year. The University of Wisconsin and Marquette University offer nationally ranked teams in many sports. And Wisconsin has quickly become known as a golf mecca with the world-renowned courses of Whistling Straits, Blackwolf Run, Erin Hills, and the courses of Sand Valley…and there are so many more great courses to discover!
Music enthusiasts are also getting spoiled as Wisconsin is fast becoming known for its multitude of music festivals all over the state. We hope you are able to take one in!
Throughout the state, you can decide to stay your own way. Wisconsin offers hotels, motels, resorts, Bed & Breakfasts, remote cabins, and more, so take it all in and enjoy our Midwest Hospitality! Our Wisconsin Hotel & Lodging Association members are at your service and look forward to your arrival. And we are confident that once you explore and experience one piece of Wisconsin, you are going to want to keep coming back for more.
