WEEKS PARK
2006 Southwest Pkwy. | wichitafallstx.gov/73/Weeks-Park
Weeks Park is the largest of the city’s parks, and is home to several outdoor sports and activities. It is named after W.F. Weeks and Harry C. Weeks, who donated 258 acres of land to the city for park use in 1926.
The city’s municipal golf course, The Champion’s Course at Weeks Park, is located in the heart of the park. A three mile concrete hike and bike trail (part of the Circle Trail system) runs along the east side of the park along Holliday Creek. Weeks Park has a large picnic shelter with 30 picnic tables that will seat 180 people. There are public restrooms, numerous bbq grills, benches, and a basketball court.
For all of the pickleball enthusiasts, the park has a tennis center with 10 lighted pickleball courts, plus 4 tennis courts and a pro shop. Managed by Falls Town Courts, the center has weekly socials, classes (such as Pickleball 101), and other activities. More competitive players can join a league and/or participate in tournaments held at Weeks Park. However, if you just want to have a casual game with friends, stop by the pro shop to reserve a court!
