GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. The Association will take every precaution in its power for the preservation of articles on exhibition, but will not be responsible for any loss or damage that may occur in delivery, exhibition or removal of the exhibits. 2. All entries competing for premiums for the Fair must be made between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday or 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. 3. All articles entered are to remain on exhibit until 6:00 p.m. on the last day of the fair. 4. No exhibitor shall be allowed to make more than one entry in any one lot. 5. Entries for premiums in the individual lots shall not be permitted to appear as parts of collections nor parts of collections entered as individual lots. 6. No article shall compete for more than one premium 7. Articles must be entered in the name of the bonafide owner(s) and exhibits must have been made by

exhibitors during the past year. 8. Every article in competition must correspond in number and description with the premium list and must be in its proper class in order to obtain premium. 9. Ample accommodations will be provided for all collections which are neatly arranged and fully labeled. 10. The awards shall be designated by ribbons or stickers as follows: 1st Premium - Blue; 2nd Premium - Red. 11. All awards will be made by comparison of the individual merit of the entries by competent, disinterested judges. 12. Any interference by exhibitors to influence or dictate the decision of the judges will be sufficient reason for excluding his or her entry from competition and should be reported to the Secretary through the Superintendent of the Division. 13. The judges decision shall be final.

14. Articles of inferior merit regardless of the number in competition for a premium shall not be awarded such prize if the judge deems the exhibit unworthy. 15. ALL CHECKS PAID OUT AS PREMIUMS SHALL BE FORFEITED TO THE FAIR ASSOCIATION IF NOT CASHED WITHIN 30 DAYS. 16. Exhibition of articles not competing for premiums must be arranged for at the Secretary’s Office and they will be exhibited as far as possible in conformity with the wishes of the exhibitor. 17. The distribution of hand bills, flyers, cards, or other advertising material will under no circumstances be permitted at any place on the grounds except in the confines of the exhibitors’ place of business or exhibit. Anyone violating this rule will be liable to a fine or expulsion from the grounds as the board may elect.
