• Select HARDWOOD FRAMES provide superior stability for moving parts. HEAVY DUTY TRIANGLE METAL BRACKETS add support to high-stress areas of our Pressback Recliners. We designed our own EXCLUSIVE ARM SUPPORT SYSTEM to reduce the arm movement that is common to other manufacturers’ recliners.
Are you a RECLINER or a TILT-BACK RECLINERS have the footrest built in, and come in two varieties: Pressback Recliners have no handles, responding to your own movements as you lay back and sit up. They have decorative wood legs, and look most like a stationary chair. Handle Recliners rely less on your body strength to operate, and also need less wall clearance. They can be fitted with an optional swivel glider base and even motorized controls.
• All high-stress joints are DOWELLED, GLUED AND REINFORCED with screws and staples. We use COIL SPRING SEATING UNITS—an uncommon feature in most motion furniture. • NO-SAG® BACK SPRINGS are standard in most pieces.
TILT-BACKS do not have a built-in footrest, but the back can be locked in any position, and the separate ottoman can be a handy extra surface beyond a simple footrest.
