(Barchelor Degree) Design Arrangement of Cisanti Lake Area With Integrated Ecotourism Planning, Bandung Regency

5

Abstract Situ Cisanti is a Situ or an artiďŹ cial lake from the upstream of Citarum River, the longest river in West Java which comes from 7 (seven) springs. Situ Cisanti is one of the witnesses of history, during the period of the monarchy until the colonial period by the Dutch. Situ Cisanti is also strategically located between the Kertasari Tea Plantation Area and the Tarumajaya Dairy Farm Center. The magniďŹ cent nature condition that comes along with existing historical values, provide a positive impact for tourist attraction in Situ Cisanti. However, the existing condition of Situ Cisanti had experienced environmental pollution caused by the lack of awareness of local communities to maintain the sanitation of the river during the activities of vegetable plantations and cattle farms. The facilities and infrastructure of tourism activities in Situ Cisanti are also poorly maintained and inadequate. In addition, there is no integration between Situ Cisanti with the surrounding area, especially with the Kertasari Tea Plantation Area and Tarumajaya Dairy Farm Center. Such conditions will further trigger a decline in tourist attraction and degradation in environmental quality of Situ Cisanti area that will impact on the Citarum River and surrounding areas. Therefore, it is necessary to restructure the Situ Cisanti area in order to increase the existing attractiveness as well as to develop the potential that has not been developed by still paying attention to the sustainability of its environment.

keywords: ecotourism integrated destination tourism nature conservation cultural preservation

The concept of integrated ecotourism planning is used as the main concept in the form of tourism planning, which still pay attention to the preservation of nature and culture and also to the integration of destinations within and outside of Situ Cisanti. This concept is then applied in seven design elements namely zoning, building, accessibility, preservation area, green open space, marker and information, supporting spaces of ecotourism activities, and institutional. The arrangement plan of Situ Cisanti area uses Soft System Methodology (SSM) method which produces master plan, detail plan, and activity plan for the provider and beneďŹ ciary of the arrangement plan.

analysis Bandung regency located in the highlands make the main tourist attraction in the form of nature tourism. Based on West Java Tourism OďŹƒce, water tourism attraction is the most popular tourism (35%) followed by recreation tour (32%). Bandung Regency has four lakes, one of them is Cisanti Lake. According the percentage growth of each visitors, Cisanti Lake is in the lowest position, 10.114 visitors, while the highest is Patenggang Lake 150.234 visitors in 2017. This comparison is very far away.

ecotourism activity support

accessibility visitors can’t surround the lake, the pedestrian path is cut off; several pedestrian ways are made of sement so it’s slippery when it rains; unfriendy for difable; reachable fasilities; Cisanti lake is between tea and dairy farm so they can make good attractions; has no public transportations which directly go there.

tourist attractions are homogeneous and less feasible; tourist support facilities are less feasible and inadequate; already has some photo spots; has several environmental projects

Concept - Sustainable Development location

required the addition of an attractive green open space and maintain the stone craft as branding

Location Taman Agung Village, Muntilan District Muntilan Sub-district is the largest stone craft producer in Magelang District and has been distributed around the globe. As time passes by, Muntilan's stone craft production is expected to decline due to reduced labor force and stagnant worker productivity. Improving managerial capacity of local communities in order to strengthen independent stone craft marketing and branding is one of the key. Futhermore, stone craft as Muntilan's identity can be used as a facility to attract the outside community intoe Muntilan by providing stone craft educational tour. problem situation expressed: structure: less open publik space, less optimal use of land process: less optimal facilities and infrastructure supporting the stone craft industry. productivity of stagnant stone crafts. concern: urgency in maintaining the craft of stone carving that faded as the increasingly tight economic competition between regions.

environment self-contained park, the park generates its own energy with solar panels and piezoelectronics. solar panels are applied in garden lights and roofs of buildings. piezoelectronic is a systems that can generate electricity from the mechanical changes. piezoelectronics are applied in speed bumps and several pathways. the type of vegetations in this park are shade trees and edible plants. building materials are environmentally friendly (green building).

social cultural park, the purpose of this park is to introduce the tourists/community about the stone craft industry as muntilan local wisdom. this inclusion park provides facilities that support community activities of various ages and classess. the park can improve the public happiness index. people can relax and unwind from their dense routines

saung

The location of this open land is close to the cikadu batik art studio. Cikadu village which is discourse to become this tourist village certainly needs spaces that support tourism activities. In addition to optimizing open space that has not been maximized, its proximity to the batik art studio is also the reason why this open space is used as one of the strategic points. One of the tourist attractions in this village is its cultural attractions, namely cikadu batik with rhinoceros motifs, mancung crafts, and gentra taruna art studios. Therefore, this open space is recommended to be used as a park that supports cikadu cultural activities, so that it is called the cikadu cultural park.

Parking area is reserved for park visitors using bicycles or motorbikes only.

This saung uses Sundanese traditional architecture (shingle roofs and wooden or bamboo building construction with a little stage or pedestal foundation). This saung is used as a shelter for visitors.

Amphitheater can be used as art venues performed by local people as an attraction for visitors. This space also can be used as a gathering room or deliberation for the local community.

The landmark of this park resembles a mancung craft, considering that the park has a local culture theme, so the park is designed by applying the symbols of local culture in the tanjungjaya village.

Open space is used as a gathering place (lesehan, ngariung) for visitors or the local community.

The main entry point leads to the cikadu batik art studio. from this point, the cikadu batik art studio was seen. This entry point also leads directly to the park's landmark which is an area that resembles a mancung craft

Location

Ciroyom Market Area, Bandung Ciroyom Market is one of the three major markets in Bandung. It serves as one of the largest suppliers of animal protein commodities from fish species. The existence of this market is very important for the society to meet the needs of foodstuffs, especially people who live in the area of West Bandung. Market activities with the commodity of this fish make the quality of the market environment seem bad. This is due to the waste management especially fish waste are less organized. The pattern of behavior of surrounding communities is also still indifferent in maintaining the cleanliness of the market environment. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a space that can move the public to be more concerned about the environment around the market.
