The Devon Rum Co’s crew had a fantastic time at Brixham Pirate Fest! The entire community of pirates, both men and women, was very welcoming and our range of rums went down a storm. We always attract the custom of grizzled seadogs, but it was also a pleasure to serve so many young people such as the attractive trio shown enjoying a drink at our stall.

Our artisan rums from the Caribbean are flavoured with spices and citrus, as well as honey from hives in our county, making them a truly hand-crafted product with an appeal to all ages.

Aaarrrggghhh, this just gets better with every issue and I love some of the headlines and captions that top and tail the stories.

JollyRoger (Cornish pirate folk punk band) will be undertaking their first overseas voyage this September to play at the massive Festival-Mediaval in Selb, Germany, between 9-11 September.

They are also stopping off in: Cologne (7); Nuremberg (9); Leipzig (13); Dresden (14); Frankfurt (17); Luxembourg (22); Brussels (23); and in both Bruges and Ghent (24). The band is looking for places to play in these locations on those dates, alongside the gigs it is already booked in.

If anyone can help us out by suggesting venues to play at or promoters who are up for a good time with some fun folk-punk pirates, please let us know via our e-mail address: jollyrogerbanduk@gmail.com
