Introduction Honestly who does not love a good cookout? No one that is who. Cookouts or BBQs are great at bringing people together, and stimulating communication in a way few other activities can. What other activity can claim to not be out of place in all seasons and at events such as a summer party, Independence Day celebration or even a football game? But we cannot forget the best part of a BBQ: the food. Need help with creating the menu of your first BBQ or cookout, or are you a BBQ veteran looking to spice up your offerings. Maybe you just really love the small of a good grilled steak in the morning. This cookbook is for you. With grilling recipes for three kinds of meat (beef, chicken and pork) from many different cultures. Easy to follow instructions and beatiful photos to get your taste buds flowing, this is the only cookbook about grilling meat you will ever need. Now get your grill and charcoal ready and go out and have a damn BBQ! Honestly who does not love a good cookout? No one that is who. Skirt Grilled Steak with Chimichurri Sauce Ingredients
Instructions
1 1/2 skirt steak, cut in half 1/2 tbs. of kosher salt
1. Combine the garlic, jalapeno and vinegar in a bowl. Stir in the parsley, oregano, and lime juice. Whisk in the olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Mix well and set aside at room temperature to allow the flavors to marry.
1/2 tbs. of black peppers
Chimichurri Sauce 1 cup of fresh italian parsley 1/2 cup of olive oil 1/3 cup of red wine vinegar 1/4 cup of fresh cilantro 2 garlic cloves, peeled 3/4 tsp. of ground chili peppers 1/2 tsp. of ground cumin 1/2 tsp. of kosher salt
2. Marinate the steak in olive oil for 30 minutes, turning to coat both sides. 3. Preheat an outdoor charcoal grill. Remove the steak from the oil and season both sides with a generous amount of salt and pepper; you should see the seasoning on the meat. Grill the steaks on the hottest part of the barbecue for 4 minutes per side, until well charred. Transfer the steak to a cutting board and let stand for 5 minutes. Cut the steak across the grain on the diagonal and fan the slices out on a platter. Spoon some chimichurri over the meat and serve with the remaining sauce at the table.
