Enter your H-D dealer number followed by .wx Enter your password

STEP 3.1 - HOW TO ORDER

Click on the Harley-Davidson menu point and choose the frame style you want to order.

All Climate Control styles are identified by the removable Facial Cavity SealTM

STEP 3.2 - FRAME OPTIONS If you in the previous step e.g. chose the AirRage, you will now see the three different frame colour options.

The three different frame colour options: Matte Black (RX-HD694F)

Crystal Bronze (RX-HD695F)

Gloss Black (RX-HD696F)

Choose the desired colour by clicking the image, and click Select Colour

LENS DESCRIPTION SOLID COLOURS

TRANSITIONS® BROWN & TRANSITION GREY BROWN - Enhances contrast (objects appear sharper) by blocking a larger percentage of blue light (compared to grey). Provides a warmer appearance to colors. Works well in variable light conditions. Available with polarized filter as well. Light transmission (non-polarized): 15% GREY - Reduces light intensity without altering the colour of objects. Provides most natural color vision but does not enhance contrast. Available with polarized filter as well. Light transmission (non-polarized): 15% GREEN - Provides a cool, soothing tone to colors. Often used to create the classic look of aviator-style sunglasses. Filters some blue light and enhances contrast in low light conditions. Available with polarized filter as well. Light transmission (non-polarized): 15% ORANGE - Enhances contrast but will distort colors, so it may not be suitable for activities that require accurate color recognition. Enhances depth perception in overcast/shaded conditions. Light transmission: 35%

Quickly adapts from clear indoors to fully dark in brightest sun. Continuously adapt to changing light (UV) so they are always the shade you need them to be. Does not change inside a car. Light transmission: 95% to 12% (in sunlight)

TRANSITIONS® XTRACTIVE ® GREY Specifically designed to go extra dark outdoors, a comfortable tint indoors, and they activate moderately inside a car. Light transmission: 85% to 10% (in sunlight), 50% in a car

TRANSITIONS® SOLFX TM Naturally 30% colored and goes darker outdoors. Engineered to enhance critical elements, while providing optical clarity, increased contrast sensitivity, and depth perception. Only available with Glacier & Glacier Plus coating, not HMC. Does not change inside a car. Available in 4 different colours:

POLARIZED COLOURS POLARIZED GREY, BROWN, GREEN & YELLOW - Increased comfort for your eyes and improved vision due to removal of glare from shiny surfaces and decreased light transmission. Can cause slight distortion on helmet visors and windscreens. Light transmission: 15% and 35% (Yellow)

DRIVEWEAR® TRANSITIONS ® Combining two of the most advanced lens technologies NuPolar® polarization and Transitions’® photochromic technology. Continuously adapt, reducing glare and optimizing color contrast for a superior driving experience. Change from olive green/ yellow to red brown. (See illustration in the H-D Performance Eyewear catalog) Light transmission: 35% to 12% (in sunlight), 22% in a car

COATINGS SHAMIR GLACIERTM

SHAMIR GLACIER PLUS速

If the HMC coating is not enough for you, you draw benefit from choosing a Glacier coating to increase protection of the lenses. In general Wiley X Europe offers these coatings a lot cheaper compared to other lens manufacturers, so it is money well spend.

Crystal clear and glare-free vision

The Glacier coating includes everything from HMC plus: 1. Anti-static layer on the lens 2. External super hydrophobic layer to prevent water marks 3. Oil phobic layer for easier cleaning 4. Double hard scratch coating to provide increased scratch protection ensuring enhanced lens lifetime

In cooperation with Shamir, Wiley X is launching Shamir Glacier Plus, an innovative antireflective coating, which increases light transmission and reduces glare and reflections. Glacier Plus improves the optical performance and cosmetic appearance, with no unwanted reflections. Glacier Plus contains everything that is in HMC and Glacier. Glacier Plus is just an improved and further developed version of the Glacier treatment. What makes Glacier Plus so extraordinarily good is its improved and even harder surface. The Bayer Ratio test, conducted at NSL and Colts Laboratories showed that Glacier Plus is 20-30% stronger than the nearest competitor (measured hardness of approx. 18). This hard coating also has abrasion resistance values 3.5 times higher than the market standards, delivers excellent scratch protection and ensures a greater durability of the glasses.

STEP 3.3 - PATIENT INFO & LENS TYPE You are now ready to enter the prescription parameters of your client. The following points must be filled out, in order to finalize the job.

To help you identify your job from others. Numbers, characters or a combination. The name of your client/customer.

Choose the lens type from the dropdown menu. Cannot be changed – the lens glazing technology used is Free Form

Choose between Progressive or Single Vision.

Choose the colour of the lenses. With progressive lenses we recommend Autograph Att. Short Protect.

STEP 3.4 - COATINGS Hard Multi Coating (HMC) is always applied as standard without extra cost. We recommend adding a Glacier or Glacier Plus coating for enhanced lens protection and optical technology. For activating mirror options, mark the “Back Side Coating” and choose the wanted mirror. Click to choose a Soft Mirror Coating on the front of the lens, 4 different colours available.

Click and enter maximum 5 characters/numbers. Shamir can engrave the client’s initials in the lenses, without them being visible during regular use. FYI: The initials can be rather difficult to see.

STEP 3.5 - PARAMETERS Here is an example of what it can look like, after you have entered the prescription parameters.

Enter the following parameters: Sphere, Cylinder, Axis, Far PD (Pupil Distance) and Far Fitting Height.

Pupil Distance) is the distance between the client’s pupils. If not on the client’s prescription card, contact his optician. Far PD might appear on the prescription card (e.g. 62).

Far Fitting Height is the vertical location of the pupil measured from the bottom of the lens, when the client is wearing the eyewear (remember to include extra 0.5 mm that goes into the bottom of the frame).

Point on the camera with your mouse, and you will see the drawing to the right. The red cross shows you the location of the pupil based on the entered Pupil Distance & Fitting Height. The horizontal red line shows the vertical center of the lens, also called Datum Line – this is most often chosen on Single Vision eyewear. How to calculate the Datum Line for AirRage: lens height (see drawing) (36.33mm / 2)+2+0.5 =20.66.

The above image serves as an illustration, when measuring the pupil height the customer must always be facing you looking you right between the eyes. This goes for both single vision and progressive lenses.

STEP 3.6 - PARAMETERS If the prescription parameters cannot be done in the chosen model, the green square will turn red. Click it to see what is possible in the chosen model. Everything outside the green area is not possible.

When ready, click Send to place the order. You are now directed to the LIST menu, where you can follow the progress of your job.

STEP 4 - JOB LIST In the LIST menu you can follow your prescription job from start to finish. You can search for a specific job using one of the parameters available below. You can view a former order by clicking the specific Job ID. If you want to re-order, you push the send botton. Otherwise you click in the menu to exit the order again.

Your H-D dealer number.

Shamir´s order number. The reference of your client, which you entered during the ordering process.

Your username The name of your client, which you entered during the ordering process.

Shamir´s unique number for this job.

STEP 4.1 - JOB LIST

Here you will see the recent status for a specific job.

Specific note for each delivery. This number will appear together with the Job ID on each shipped order.

Will appear when the job (glasses) has left Shamir’s factory. Click on the number, and you can follow the shipment on DHL´s website.

Estimated date for shipping – add to this approx. one day.

The date the job went into production.

You are responsible for all parameters and information entered during the ordering process, so if something is wrong Wiley X Europe will not cover the costs of a new job.
