The concept of the pavilion was nature’s organic shapes. The idea of the pavilion was to create a safe space for people to interact. The pavilion acts as a piece of elevated grass to create sun shade underneath and an open green on the top.

Floating Spaces
07
The concept of the library is floating spaces. This concept focuses on the visual appearance of the building as flooding inside and outside. The facade was designed with a method of using hierarchy to bring the eye focus into the third and first floors with bright colors, the middle floor dark and unnoticeable to create the feeling of floating in the building. The inside focuses on making the platforms as if they are floating inside since there won’t be any columns in the middle supporting them. The building has a steel roof structure that holds the platforms

The project focuses on the design of sustainable architecture. The project location is 1111 Lincoln Road Parking Garage in Miami, FL. The project focused on the research and development of a screen that can help cool down the building and cut the cost of electricity. The design Inspiration came from the painting Yellow-Red-Blue by Wassily Kandinsky. The wavey design of the screen represents the tropical environment of Miami. The screens are desing with a rotation system that allows them to spin with the force of wind and collect kinetic energy that can be used for the illumination of the parking lot at night.

The project was an inspiration by the Sculptural Space. The idea was to create a building design that can seem like endless architecture. The building is warped around with curved bars that come from the ground and create interconnecting shapes that give the building a futuristic appearance.
