APPLICATION CHECKLIST

• No application fee

• Secondary School Records or Post-Secondary School Reports

• English Proficiency Exam Score*

• Passport Photo

• Optional: ACT/SAT scores and Teacher Evaluation

• Financial Guarantee Statement is not required until after admission

*This requirement can be waived at the discretion of the Office of Undergraduate Admission if your primary language or instruction of your secondary or postsecondary education has been English.

FIRST YEAR STUDENTS

• First year students - those currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, secondary school can apply using the Common Application or Coalition with Scoir.

TRANSFER STUDENTS

• Transfer students who have graduated from secondary school or completed leaving exams and begun university-level studies, including two- or four-year institutions in or out of the United States can apply using the Willamette Transfer Application.

PRIORITY DEADLINES

• Application and all materials due by February 1st for the semester starting in August.

• Application and all materials due by November 1st for the semester starting in January.

AFFORDING YOUR FUTURE

• Students are automatically considered for renewable merit scholarships that range from $25,000 to $33,000.

• International students may also apply to one of several competitive scholarships in areas of co-curricular talent or involvement including debate, environmental studies, music, public health, theatre, and studio art.

• Willamette also offers a one-time $2,000 scholarship to community college students who are members of the Phi Theta Kappa honors society.
