The Willamette Law faculty includes some of the most respected legal scholars in the country. Not only are they nationally recognized for their research, publications and contributions to the law, but they are distinguished by their deep dedication to their students. The comprehensive curriculum taught by the full-time faculty is, however, greatly enhanced by members of the local legal profession who serve as Willamette’s lecturers in law, jurists and part-time faculty. Among those experienced attorneys are a number of judges and justices who bring their experience and perspective to teaching at Willamette Law. Students talk with great affection about the value of hearing firsthand from jurists serving on the bench — though the judges themselves often say they’re the lucky ones.
